With the AirBreaker, ABUS has brought one of the lightest helmets on the market and has not lost sight of aerodynamics. The weight of my test helmet is 225g in size L. The adjustment to the head circumference is made as usual by a rotary wheel and can thus be adjusted perfectly. The chin strap fits perfectly right away, but cannot be adjusted in the ear area, which is not a problem for me. The AirBreaker looks very slim and the workmanship is as hoped very good. The color selection is huge, I could hardly decide. On the first ride, the low weight and the insanely good ventilation is immediately noticeable. My head remains pleasantly cool even at 28 ° C outside temperature on the mountain. The wearing sensation is also very comfortable on long tours – I sometimes do not even notice that I am still wearing the helmet on my head. My conclusion: the ABUS AirBreaker is an absolute premium helmet that perfectly combines weight, ventilation and aerodynamics and is thus unparalleled. Its wearing comfort has made it my favorite helmet in the summer months!
